Earth Day 2012
It’s coming up, just around the corner, so put it on your calendar. Earth Day is April 22nd and, throughout Ottawa and across Canada, there will be events to celebrate this special date, which is set aside to recognize this great planet we call home.
Earth Day is also a great time to take stock of what you are doing to help the environment. There are little things that we could all do on a daily basis that can add up to a huge impact. Whether it’s recycling, saving water or electricity, or taking your own re-usable bags to the grocery store, these are things we can all do to make a difference. If you think there is room for improvement, pick one thing to work on, this year, such as always taking your re-usable bags to the grocery store, and master it! If you pick one new thing a year to add, over time, soon you will be as green as they come. Remember, every little bit helps, so start to reduce, reuse and recycle today!
